"I believe the inspiration was from them taking the initiative to reconstruct it after an extra dimensional invader blew it up as they entered this dimension. They forcefully took control of the governments and United the planet using the tech they acquired from the invader, and just…grew from there. Governments weren’t dissolved, rather subsidized and standardized. Each gets reviewed every 6 months to ensure no corruption is occurring. Only on planets Hexco owns though. They may make a lab or station on another world, but they won’t interfere unless attacked"
