Paintbrush tool and smudger ^^ shots and effects on two seperate layers from the original and there you go ^^

Yeah. Smudge tool don't work that great in either program...must be me...and for every new color I learned a new layer is in order XD Though then everything is soooo cluttered up by too many damn layers.

Meh..I usually smash it all on one layer, but yeah...different styles

It's just random scribbling...it's not real letters if that's what you mean...
I coulda done that too, but I would have had to prewrite something sensible on a paper or copy from the daemon hunter codex

The thing that impresses me the most on this model is the orange runes, very nice.

No.. I can freehand like that, it needs more definition, sharp lines like the runes you painted, which are very impressive to me!
I can't do straight lines like that without a lead/ruler.Makes me jelous =/.

I wish Tau did stuff like that.. Actually I stopped painting anything and half my models are outside sitting in the garage out of order and prolyl being crushed.

Well..it's not like you can't decorate your Tau dudes with stuff, they do have writing and ornaments on some things, so ^^

I am going to REALLY do up my honor guard for EtheralsGonna deck them out with all the pbitz I can that look good enough.. I wrote my own rules for a Tau fire warrior strike team also, think storm trooper fire warriors.

I'm working on rules how to create your own character model ^^ should be fun to see if it works

You know why I like the Nids? It's because, story-wise, they're quite literally unstoppable. Think about it: this galaxy is probably not the only one they're munching on. And in the other galaxies, the resistance is probably not nearly as stiff, so those hive fleets are assimilating much faster, and growing much larger. Once they're done they'll start in towards the Milky Way, and suddenly (in this case "suddenly" means a few thousand years) there'll be a hundred thousand Nids for every human, Ork, Eldar, Tau, and Necron over here. By 50K, the only things left in this galaxy will be barren rockballs, and a single enormous warp overlap where Chaos will have taken over like, one-third of the place.

Possibly..but that is precicely why I stand on te side of humanity...I fight for survival and do so with honor and dignity ^^
