Nice, what port? What kind/s of whales? I always love seeing them. I have seen very active Humpbacks at Digby Neck Nova Scotia and Blue Whales right up close at Long Beach California.

Is Comodoro Rivadavia, Argentina. We have permanemtly minkes and sometime a rare blue one, other with s that cant remember and lots of Ballenas Francas del Sur on the way to Península Valdez, directly from the antartica and the Georgias Islands
