Wow, great job with the character designs here. It's impressive how much personality you gave them just from their poses and expressions. Also, you did good work with the character details too, making them all look distinct but the style still look cohesive. Plus it's great how animated and lively they feel, particularly with Fred's dynamic pose. Overall, excellent work!
Having a character actually named "Red Herring" was more clever writing than anything these days. Weird that we're at a point where a single artist on the Internet can do a better job with character design than a multi-billion dollar corporation.
Thanks for sharing your artwork! Good luck with everything!

Great way to showcase personalities visually.
Velma's curious if a bit too focused on clues.
Shaggy's terrified of everything but stands close to his friends.
Scooby's just happy to be around his master and best bud.
Daphne's aloof but is not stepping down despite how others may see her.
Fred's just ready to take on the world with a smile and a silly idea which may backfire.

A Pup Named Scooby Doo was one of the few examples of a WELL DONE 'age the characters down' spin-off. I sadly just can't trust WB to do Scoobs and Co. right anymore, look at the Velma show... Onto happy topics I love these designs! They work so well and I'd be behind a cartoon with this being the design aesthetics.
As long as you keep that absolutely ROTTEN, HATED and downright ** ANNOYING* "scrappy-doo" OUT OF IT..
then.. YEA.. I'm all for it.. I saw some of the original series of this and I had to admit, it gave me more then a few giggles.. that was also, if I remember right, when Animaniacs was also sizzling hot in the ridiculous humor section.. LOTS of fun shows on that decade..
(( Johnny Bravo Meets Scooby-Doo... good gods DO NOT be drinking anything when you see it or it'll spurt out your nose, you'll laugh so hard..
and on the flip side of the coin..
Scoobynatural where the scooby gang run into Sam and Dean Winchester from the Supernatural series.. ( the boys get pulled into an episode of one of the classic Scooby-doo cartoons, along with their angel buddy Castiel ... and THEN things start getting massively weird! )

Fred be giving me vibes of Raphael from mutant mayhem, and I'm diggin it! Heck, I'm digging all these designs and I'd love to see a Scooby series using these designs. Plus A Pup named Scooby-Doo is still one of my favorite Scooby incarnations which makes me like this one all the more.
