FR: Nous sommes le 14 avril 2023, il y a 111 ans le Titanic, le célèbre paquebots surnommé "l’insubmersible" sombrait dans la nuit du 14 au 15 avril 1912 emportant avec lui les vies de plus de 1500 personnes. ce dessin est un hommage aux victimes.
Ce soir pour commémorer le 111ème anniversaire de cette terrible tragédie qui nous bouleverse toujours, je vais regarder le film de James Cameron.

And yet her sinking and the loss of life wouldn't be in vain as her sinking, her sisters and all other Ocean Liners were required to have water-tight Bulkheads that went all the way to the highest points of their positions within the ships, and that all ships were required to have more lifeboats as well as systems that could lower them much faster.
And other new rules were made, like the wireless communication room were now off limits to passengers and were now used for ship safety and the reports of any hazards that may be in the waters ahead of them. And as soon as ships lift ports they were required to do safety demonstrations on how in the event of an emergency the crew and passengers are to safely exit the ship and board the lifeboats.
So if you think about the loss of White Star Lines, the Olympic Class RMS Titanic actually saved many more lives.
