*Teaser* Monoko's Demo's Tape - Demo Collection *Teaser*
Nobody's asked for this...and yet it's coming. An assortment of 9 demo snippets
that never made it into the full song stage from a time when dinosaurs still roamed
the earth...no wait...ok, not "that" old but...but pretty old just as a fair warning. It's
gonna contain a fuckton of autotune so if that's not what you're into...you're going
to be extremely dissapointed but otherwise you should be able to find your personal
favorite in there somewhere as well. 😉
I crawled into the deepest depths of my harddrives music projects folder and unearthed
these pieces, removed the rust and dirt with my current set of mixing skills, polished
them just ever so slightly as to not ruin the patina on these nuggets. They're just as rough
as they were, sloppy recording and everything to maintain that bedroom home studio vibe
for nostalgic reasons. 😏😁
This is only the teaser so you guys and gals and inbetween can brace yourself for the impact.
The release date for this will be announced in a separate journal so keep your eyes peeled
and ears perked. 😄

I think this one turned out pretty well. Usually my graphical creations tend
to look extremely "flat" and boring but this one worked out great because it
has some "natural" forms to contrast the straight and "harsh" lines with.

You did extremely well on it, I like the the centered paw and the splayed out words along with all the neat details that accompany it all.
I think a black background is perfect for such a design and the white on black contrast is amazing.
Though I'm certain the recorded binary won't be terrible XD

Hehe thanks. I really enjoy minimalistic designs. And the contrast between black and white is probably my favorite... I mean it's no coincidence that Monoko is a white wolf with a black collar. 😁

I really like white on black or vice versa contrast too, it's really impactful and the accompanying features you have with it emphasize it.

Ok, that's something "I" haven't thought about but yeah you could see it as a canvas. ^^ A canvas you'd never be allowed to paint on. xD
Yeah, I mean if people like it, great, if not... at least I got some feedback whether I'm on the right track or doing something incredibly wrong. In the end it's music I make for myself and if people share the appreciation for this kind of music, then that's awesome. ^^

Even so, laundry products have gotten good enough now where if you actually wanted to paint yourself it wouldn't be a hassle to get rid of it XD

I have to say my favorite track has to be "I transition to empty".
Personally it takes me back to old-school YouTube when a lot of self-made artist's songs had that retro theme and ongoing beat in the background in their videos/skits. I have tons of fond memories of those times :D
