Also, is it Shear or Shears? The apostrophe's placement is confusing me. Then again, the idea of him opening his trousers is a far bigger distraction. This dude is lucky!

It would be nice to be treated like a person in the workplace! Haven’t seen much of it yet, but I assume it’s a thing!
Also, General Shears’ name is Shears. King’s Cardpad has it listed oddly. In the original text, it seems that King respects Shears a whole darn lot, which might be enough to make someone second guess their relationship.
And I’m sure there’s several who wouldn’t want a ride on the second in command, especially with Shears practically needing a wait list to keep track of all the men needing a good night with their “den father”! 🤣
