I only know two types of KitKat (regular and white chocolate) here in South Africa, so seeing all those extra flavors is very surprising.

I only recently found out how much Japan like KitKats. Never would have guess they would make so many different types.

I think that is a cultural thing. I read that Kit Kats are given to students who write an exam as good loock charm, because Kit Kat sounds in japanese similar to "You can win/you can do it".
