Moana was born into a family of lifeguards who have been protecting the beaches of Sky Pillar for generations. While she was good at saving lives and watching over the oceans (Even if they were mostly teenage boys who were pretending to drown), She wanted to try her hand at the Poke-Combat Academy and experience something her family had never done, competive battling.

Her nickname came from the fact that english is her second language and she wanted a more normal-sounding word for people to call than Moana. A group of Tangrowth surfers (Nice guys, but tend to get grabby when she rescues them from "drowning") Suggested the word Milky. Even though she didn't know what it meant it stuck with her since then.

In combat, Moana takes the role of Support and Healer, keeping her teammates in good health and able to outlast their opponents. She's not quite that bright and somewhat gullible, but if there is one thing she is passionate about, its protecting those close to her anyway she can.
