I grew up three miles from the Atlantic ocean and, like Seb, knew all the good spots for melancholy meditations. Sometimes ... if you know where to go and got there just a nick before dawn ... you might catch whitetail deer chasing each other in the shallow tide. Fast forward fifty years when I returned to my New Hampshire home, I used to walk my sheltie collie, Sophie, where she could run free during certain times and months. She was just enraptured by the freedom and safety of being off-leash and all the people and creatures she encountered. So, like Sophie, Kyle and Sam are energized by the ocean (maybe a little TOO frisky there, Sam!) But the shore's embrace has a place for everyone .... some for recreation (and obtuse flirtation) and some for wistful reflections.

There is a character is Disney's The Little Mermaid named "Flounder" but he's actually a tropical fish by species - he's a childhood pal.

Love the way you work with the shadings of the sky and sea, setting the moods and playing off the colors of your characters' fur and clothing. (And Happy Orthodox Easter again, whatever it may mean for you.)

thanks a lot for sharing your memories about the ocean, sounds awesome! also thanks for the notes on shadings, I tried to paint the before storm skies and also use it metaphorically to show the mood of each character depending on which part of the skies is above their heads

An extraordinary and very hilarious bonus story of how Alex spends almost all her time fishing and sharing with friends her adventures. I feel sorry for sweet Sebby who really wished to enjoy the ocean sounds alone.. for once he was quite sure to not receive any noisy visitor haha xD
Still i can understand perfectly why Alex got her revenge, making sure the problem was irrelevant to her ;3
In effects this looks like a great spot to catch tuna and flounders, so Alex guessed right. All of a sudden appears the ultra frisky and energetic Sam who ruins in big style every last hope to Seb and makes Alex lose her fish. He also noticed her spots on the sides and got a deserved hand smack lol 😂
The quiet beach was no more so quiet, poor Seb, he's fully done when Kyle pokes out as well and joins Sam for a fun duet of "Under the Sea!" 😆👍
