this girl is SOOOOOOO great i love her. i gave her so much drama and im LIVING for it. she's half-clan but doesnt know who her father is. she's ostracized in windclan. the leader wouldnt apprentice her to anyone so her mother trained her. she never got a warrior name and chose one herself. she resents her mother for everything windclan has put her through. she is so bitter and defensive and i love her.

theres a point in the story where applestrike (at the time her name was applescar) is sent off to windclan as punishment for an outburst she had. sagespeckle is tasked with guarding her, basically babysitting, and whoops! theyre friends now. at first applescar was just dissociated and in shock and didnt respond to anyone but eventually as sagespeckle kept venting at her she finally spoke up and was just like. the way you were treated for something entirely out fo your control was bullshit. you deserve a loving community and a name, for starclans sake. and boom presto sagespeckle has joined the rebellion.

applescar is also 100% sagespeckles lesbian awakening, but thats just a fun detail.
