ThunderClan’s little rebel. Sagespeckle was well aware of the news coming from ThunderClan, and even whispers from within WindClan- there was a resistance building against Redstar and Meadowmist. Or there was, until Applescar’s father and brothers had died in a fight with SkyClan and she’d shut down. Any talk of rebellion must have died with their leader’s sanity.

But Sagespeckle remembered the stories about Applepaw, the ferocious undersized apprentice standing fast at Redstar’s flank. She had the battle damage of a senior warrior, but she looked small in her flattened patch of grass. She looked young. She was young. StarClan, she’s so young. Applescar was the same age as Sagespeckle. Did Applescar have any friends? Did she have a mate? Had she always been such a fighter, or was she trained that way?
