ive been wanting an excuse to use this title X'D
so i got some nice 6x6 bristol paper from my workplace a couple days ago and i lubs eeet! ive been doing some sketching and the like. i really like the small space. helps me focus on details like facial expressions, shading, and shapes of the face/body.
so the first thing i drew was FANART *gasp* and of Gru, to boot!! love Despicable Me with a passion~ tried my hand at drawing Gru for the first time. i did use a small pic i pulled up on my phone as ref for the shape of his face. i think he translates well into my style, but ive yet to draw a full body |'D
wanted to capture his human side, that side of him that's not all 'super villain-y'(just for the record, i love that side of him, too lol) cuz he's terribly cute when he expresses himself in that manner ^.^
