Hey, you remember Tastee-Freez? Or that there was such a thing even if you never thought about the precise spelling before? Yeah, me too. So it turns out they appeared in a bunch of full-page advertisements in the 50s with characters named Tee and Eff that of course made me think of TF Tuesday mascots. You can see an example of them in Harvey Hits #2 - Rags Rabbit, https://comicbookplus.com/?dlid=16911 page 4. At the least they're good for giving me practice in hair, as well as encased hair; I've never known what to do with the heads of an anthro.
There's no credit given for the artwork but I'm going to go out on the biggest limb possible and suggest that maybe Warren Kremer had a part to play at least in character design.
I like how the background came out considering how little there is to it.

I do remember Tastee-Freez, but not these mascots. I guess characters that are made out of food don't tend to last long.
I do a little bit miss those cartoon ads that used to be in comics though. They were annoying when they were there, but now that they're gone I'm a little nostalgic for them.

My recollection is that I didn't mind the cartoon ads, since I was up for anything with more narratives. I remember disappointment the stories weren't more interesting, as if there could be a complicated storyline in five panels. At least a Wendy The Good Little Witch one-page story might give a fox a pair of antlers or something wild like that.
