I don't think Akiko wants to play anymore, Debbie. You should probably do as you're told for once.

Well if Varden catches her, she's toast. And kinda rightfully so (in story terms only of course). Hope they can calm down the (at the moment not so-) gentle giant before they run into each other.
And I wonder if we at some point learn what Varden has actually done. Seeing that he's more of an inmate that part of the team.
Well actually, he is kind of both, but... you know what I mean.

Hmm, it seems a new player joined this game of capture the otter and snatched up Saffy. If those weren't her dad's goons then whose are they?
Also, I'm strangely curious and slightly terrified of the thought of an angry Varden.
Oh lol that side eye Debbie is doing, feels like she's noticing our frustration with her too (not sure if intentional)

stop blaming your screw ups on debbie and take some freaking responsibilitie like the adults your suposed to be that girl just got almost stabed to death by sticking to you and not sell out saffy
looking at your reaction now maybe she should have sold out and never come back

Plenty of blame to go around. Yes, Akiko is somewhat at fault for leaving Saffy in Debbie’s care knowing how irresponsible Debbie has proven to be, but Debbie is also at fault for taking Saffy out when she wasn’t supposed to. If Debbie had just stayed home with Saffy, this never would have happened. That said, what it boils down to is that Akiko and Debbie are both responsible for this mess.
also saffy wouldnt be in this whole situation to begin with if akiko first of all didnt put debbie in charge of doing the getting varden in the crib even though she isnt even responsible for that stuff and if akiko instaled an emergency shutdown on a potentialy dangerous device like that
They did, but it was just out of reach of the Crib... Also, Akiko needed to deal with the Patient... Cleo was Asleep (as stated by Debbie herself with an off-handed comment), and Debbie Likely knew the proper procedure for putting Varden to bed (noted by the fact that he was left with her). PLUS IF Debbie had actually HELPED to put Varden to bed instead of being Flagrantly Indolent and Self-Centered as she is, she could have gotten Saffy Out, but Noooo... She had to leave Varden's Bed Time to the Newbie... And then to Top it off, Saffy being put with her was as a punishment for getting Saffy stuck in that situation (both Akiko and Cleo knew that it could be a bad idea, BUT it was their best option at that point), and Knowing she Shouldn't take Saffy Out, She Still Took her out instead of canceling the meeting with Lycen... Like, could Debbie have Fucked this whole thing up Any Harder??
Again, if Debbie knows how to do it (which we can infer she Does), why wake up Cleo? And the kidnapee getting prepped, which is Literally their Work at this facility, comes first... Debbie was trusted to do this, it's Her Fuck Up, the fact that she can't act like an adult because she CHOOSES Not To but expects to be treated as one, makes it Her Fault >.>
I would point out 1. Sleeping IS a valid excuse, putting varden to bed would not have been hard or a big deal UNLESS you didn't know what you were doing, aka hypno crib and what happened. Debbie was just being immature and lazy.
Second they were doing the best they could with the situation because NEWSFLASH they had responsibilities that needed to get done while Debbie had time to spare. Her meeting with Lycen was not essential and could more than likely have been rescheduled. On the other hand she had responsibilities that she screwed up. So, as part of the punishment for fucking up, she had to use her free time to take care of the mess SHE made. A fair punishment. So while I don't think Akkiko or Cleo are blameless, they certainly not at fault for the disaster that has occurred. That award falls squarely on the shoulders of Debbie.

Two thoughts come to mind. Debbie was not lazy in not putting Varden to bed... She had her ego bruised. Saffy had called her out for screwing Ace after he was knocked out... Irresponsible, I think was the word used.
And Saffy was stuck in that crib, but I don't know that the hypno would have taken in her quite so much if she wasnt already predisposed to liking diapers. One night IS awfully fast for it to have taken, let alone lasted this long.
Regardless, I think that Akiko gave Debbie some good advice. Stay out of Varden's way.

varden is a weird grey area when it comes to defending yourself against his violence his body is the one of an adult though his mind was regressed and he clearly is muscular enough to break several bones in your body is it okay to physicly defend yourself against him or should you just let yourself be beaten up its a predicament and i really cant tell what would be the right thing to do
In law, that's called "disparity of force", and at least in America, it's a central feature of self-defense cases. Example: young tough guy tries to assault/batter a small older woman. He is unarmed. She is still within her rights to use a weapon to defend herself. Conversely, a grown man of equal or greater training and ability would have to show cause why he needed a weapon against someone of equal or lesser strength.
With Varden, I think even if you had someone of equal strength, they would be limited to blocks and/or submission holds. In Varden's specific case.... you could use your voice, too, though, esp. if the hypno-crib implants certain trigger words.
"Varden! Be a good little moo and sit down!" or
"Varden! Night-night!"
He has been trained to obey, esp the CTN staff, I think. The interesting battle will be between his conditioning and his will, esp. re: Saffy.

i still think that this hypno crib is a way to dangerous invention and if known of by the goverment would be locked away in some bunker and never used like that
here is another thought the way i feared before either akiko or cleo would fall debbie now in the back but than i realised star wouldnt write them like that if they would force her to be babied or lock her in that crib or do anything on that level they would move on patricia level of horribleness and she clearly doesnt want that because patricia is a villian at least so far she has been portrayed as nothing else ( as it goes for james debatable) so i am confident for now debbie is safe

You have far too much faith in government if you think they'd never use the crib that way. I agree with you they'd lock it in some bunker somewhere, but they'd use it. (Reference MK-ULTRA and/or Project Artichoke)
Also, as with most villains, I don't think the couple in Housebroken think of themselves as evil in any way. From their perspective, much as with many people with money and power, they think that those things give them the right and the wisdom to decide what's best for those they view as under them. I'd be surprised if they didn't look at what they are doing to Daniel and Star/Daisy as a kindness...Giving them a family. It's just that in return for their kindness, the people they bought need to live and enjoy the parts they have had chosen for them.
We all see that "the people they bought" should be their first clue they're on the wrong side of this, but it would greatly surprise me if people at that level don't see everyone else as either commodities to be bought and sold or worse, solely here for their own amusement (i.e. sociopaths) Reference Klaus Schwab's thing about "you will have nothing and be happy!" (I was not able to find video of his quote, full disclosure)
I think that their methods are horrible and I think that their intentions, at least in their minds, are good. I also think the result of those methods is why we read this.

I feel like the reality is the opposite for Debbie caring about herself in the way she cares so little about herself, she's willing to risk her life because something made her give up on her personal well-being. It would be a good reason for her path of destruction.
While Debbie is making bad choices, it makes me only want to learn more about why she is how she is now.

Not really, especially considering we've seen that exact sort of thing play out before when Saffy awoke from her trance on the exam table, and also because they are standard medical garb for people who have taken significant injuries near there or were unconscious for more than 48 hours, both of which apply to Debbie in her current state, so really, both based on what's happened previously in the story, and what would actually be done irl, I would be more surprised if the inevitable scene where she sneaks out doesn't involve some mention of Debbie having been placed in a diaper, whether it's an "ew, that's gross" and toss it away, or an "I might need this" and slap on a fresh one, this is how it looks like it will go. Just saying.
