Vallen's handlers allow him to talk to his son Aithsa for a little while, to keep up the young dragon's spirits, then he spends the rest of the day nervous before Chris, Dave and Sean attempt to break him out that night.

Another dragon, another crappy rescue/transport plan. Especially after the first breakout, that Vallen would be able to just fly home 'as Sean' is totally not feasible. And you can already tell from Aithsa's description of his play that it really sucks. So badly that I might rewrite that part of the next chapter between now and Thursday. >.<
Comments and critique greatly appreciated.

The comments and story have me wondering: would dragons have the same legal rights and responsibilities as humans (accounting for common law, and assuming this case where they're capable of understanding law and morality)? If not, then what other commenters said would probably happen. If do, then I guess under common law this would be deemed defence of the innocent, the guys found innocent accordingly, and Carnoc would be sentenced to behavioral therapy or arrested for homicide.
