''From Js1161997,
This picture was meant to show Sir Crocodile and James Moriarty standing aside Toshineko so that I can use it as a sort of study guide for my story. Sir Crocodile and James Moriarty both inspired my creation for Toshineko for the following reasons:
- Both have a legitimately grand plan, and managed to carry them to near-perfection.
- Both are incredibly manipulative, and were able to control the events of the stories they were in.
- Both are charismatic leaders with both leading an extremely competent and large organization.
- Both have genius levels of intellect and have managed to give the protagonists as much trouble and challenge as possible.
- Both were able to outwit the protagonists multiple times, even coming up with backup plans in case their plans got foiled.
- Both had a plan of orchestrating a war. Sir Crocodile, for example, planned to orchestrate a civil war in the country of Alabasta. James Moriarty planned to orchestrate a war between France and Germany.
- Although both were extremely difficult to deal with for the protagonists, they let their egos cloud their decisions on some occasions, and thus, even they can get outwitted by the protagonists at some instances.
- Both have extremely personal antagonistic relationships with the protagonists.
- And finally, both villains were able to commit their callous and evil deeds without leaving any evidence that leads to them.''
