Been having one of those days where I don't really feel like getting up and doing anything, and somehow that's provided me with the motivation to upload this with my mobile in the same room as me. If I'm remembering correctly, this is the last Christmas themed artwork that I have to reupload that was purchased by/for me last year! Of course, it's a little but overdue considering as the festivities have long since passed and it isn't even winter anymore... but hey, it was snowing yesterday, and that means it still counts!

This commission was once again drawn by the ever talented  Buieb, and, like the majority of the content in my gallery it seems, it wasn't actually purchased by me! Instead, it was bought by  RodonEndwell to serve as a surprise Christmas gift, and features my Sawsbuck, August, as well as his wolf paladin, Cederic, the latter of which seems to have developed quite the habit of trolling his cervine friend. I had no idea that this was in development until Rodon just happened to share one of the early sketch phases with me out if the blue, so it came as somewhat of a surprise! But I love the final result; maybe one day, we'll get to see more of August and Cederic's silly escapades.

You know what one of the downsides of having tree branches sprouting from your head is? During the Christmas season, people love to decorate them! Sometimes even without your permission! Thankfully, August usually loves to embrace the festive holiday and isn't adverse to serving as a living Christmas tree. However, it seems that this time, Cederic managed to cover him in ornaments without him noticing! Perhaps he did it while August was fast asleep? And among the various multicoloured baubles and candy canes hangs a cutting of mistletoe, much to August's distress! Now he'll have to kiss Cederic or be damned for all eternity, as is the natural order!

Maybe Cederic didn't realize he'd be the most likely recipient...? Being the closest and all.
