important context for my understanding of dsmp characters is that my main source of dsmp content is actually the fanfiction series orphan’s path. i have little to no knowledge on how accurate orp characters are to dsmp canon and my only other source is what i overhear online/what my irl friends explain to me

tommy was the first i drew, but his name took a WHILE. up until the day i drew everyone his name was only listed as a few ideas for suffixes.
i wanted him to have a fighting related suffix, so i just threw down “claw/strike/fang/heart” and moved on. eventually i thought that lightning might be a fun prefix, then realized that bolt was a REALLY cool sounding suffix.
i chose sun for his color and personality! throughout the whole process i was focused on making him energetic and aggressive and powerful, but in an upbeat way. i first listed “heart” as a suffix because of his passion.
ive always noticed that tommy just like, as a person irl goes really hard on whatever emotion he’s feeling or portraying and i love that about him.
