I'm certainly not finished with drawing seals. Does this one look rather like a sealion...?

Anyway. Here's Meira Forsecon, a new character I just illustrated for fun.
She came out so adorable! I think I just prefer doing seal or sealion art for the time being.

Character Description -- Meira Forsecon is 15 years old, even though she looks way younger. She loves fish, especially salmon and karper. If there's a series of slick rocks next to the water, Meira is more than happy to use them in order to both sunbathe, and watch for prey -- specifically small fish -- to come by. She also loves the warm, gentle waters of tropical shores, and likes to play in the sand and rest underneath a palm tree. However, she is also quite adventurous, and isn't afraid of the more dangerous locations, like the ice-cold waters of Antarctica, or the deep dark depths of any sunken shipwreck she may discover. Meira ~can~ be a bit territorial, but for the most part she is willing to share the places she lives in with other aquatic animals, like otters or turtles. Meira is often very happy, and likes to frolic with anyone who is willing to play with her. This often leads to fun ball games with a beach ball, or a cooperative hunt for fish. When she feels any of her friends might be in danger, she will get into action without any second thought, even if this sometimes causes Meira to end up in even more trouble. When Meira isn't swimming or hunting, she just likes to hang about on the beach or the frozen water's edge depending on the climate she finds herself in. Meira is also a big fan of water slides, and this makes her appreciate giant water parks and swimming pools. So much so, that she actually ended up as the substitute for the lifeguard after the official one suddenly collapsed from an illness one faithful day. This event in her life, caused Meira to be incredibly cautious in regards to what she faces, both in and out of the water. Still, despite this event influencing the way she looks at certain situations, she always tries to keep her bubbly demeanor. She is always glad to join in any activities her friends may partake in.

💦 The seal's name ''Meira'' derives from Iceland, and translates to ''more'', as in, ''several things of the same material''. This wasn't intentional, however -- I originally envisioned a name that has something to do with water, like ''Sea'' or ''Lake'', but in Icelandic. But that didn't end up happening, surprisingly enough. It could be me not being good at Icelandic, but hey, at least ''Meira'' is a fun name for a seal, right?
