This is part of a series of images I will be working on and completing. Each of these three will depict the 'Afterlife' of my book Universe. The first in the series shows 'The Abyss' the equivalent in the Christian religion as Hell.

This is the dominion of Ur, the Abysal Lord. However, his realm acts as two things in one.. A paradise is built within the walls of the cavernous Abyss called 'The City of Bone' where devout followers of Ur lay their rest for 200 years until their rebirth to the mortal realms.

Below the caverns rests the Abyss itself, a swirling vortex of nothing-ness. Condemned souls, wayward devout of Ur are tossed into the vortex to under-go punishment for nearly 400-600 years before they can be labeled as 'forgiven' and allowed to re-enter life. Only Ur knows what lays below, and those who escape the Abyss retell no memories of it's unspeakable horrors.

The Abyss itself is created from the bones of 10,000 Wyrms, their magical energy coursing through the Abyss itself. They make up the citadel that floats above the vortex where Ur resides.

Ur, his concepts, and this universe belong to me.
