Here's some ideas if you're having trouble coming up with something!:
• Your character comes across some magic bubblegum. When the bubble gets big enough, it encases you and the transformation begins.
• You encounter the legendary Mew itself. For entertainment, it chooses to make you a clone of itself to have fun with for the time being.
• You ingest a pink potion/pill with a faint smell of crisp air and a hint of sweetness. Slowly, you start getting a floaty feeling, unaware of your new form until you've fully changed.
• Your character is hypnotized, feeling a mental shift before a physical shift. The professor's research can come with some... (un)wanted side effects...
