I wanted to design outfits for the 'bolds! I'm happy with how the clothes turned out, but names are still pending. I'm thinking of going with a rock/mineral/gemstone theme, and suggestions and ideas are appreciated!
Updated name ideas so far: (not set in stone heh)
Green - Olivine a green rock, sounds believably like a name
Pink - Iridie pearl/opal --> iridescent --> Iridie
Brown - Ferra hematite --> iron/ferrite --> Ferra

short version is that it's the "remnants" of the magic-enhancing, semi-cursed artifact that stuck 'em together to begin with, and has become a part of them so it can't be removed (so I guess that'd be the "glued" option lol)
longer version: The artifact that got them merged together was made by a larger-than-human-sized person and was intended to be an amulet worn around the neck, or a gemstone embedded in the chest when with the bearer. However, kobolds are smaller than a standard humanoid, and as an amulet it would be too big for any their shoulders so their lower bodies were merged together and they wore it as a belt. Later, the amulet was absorbed into them and since it was being used as a belt the gemstone was located on their belly instead.
...in any case, it protrudes very little and they think it looks pretty, so none of them really object to it being there
