First uploaded art of the year! After FC a few weeks ago, I was inspired by a few of my favorite artists to try acrylic painting again. I would dearly love to draw more gryphons, so I took the opportunity to gryphon it up for myself. I've been sick since the con (starting to feel better finally) and motivation has been low, so I figured if I did something for myself it'd help get me back in the art groove a bit!

Verly nicely done =] I've been thinking about taking up acrylic painting but not really sure how that would go or how fast the paint dries and all (I know it dries a lot faster than oil paint). I really like how well the details with the eye turned out in this one, as well as the ear feather tips =] You've inspired me to do some art today, and to definitely look up info on acrylics
