He seems like he'd be pretty cool to hang out with! :3c
I find it's mostly in the eyes and shape of the snout(?) that gives a shark its sharky look. I usually end up making them look like odd reptiles if I don't use photo reference, so I guess just paying attention to those things will help. :3
