She's okay, been struggling some with the weather...she won't pee on a pee-pad, but she hates the snow and doesn't like to go outside...so she keeps trying to "hold it" longer and longer. I have to yell at her to get her to go outside and piss sometimes, damn dog'll give herself a kidney episode if she keeps this up. :P

In other news, I was in a car accident last night. I'm okay, just...life sucks atm. I forget (my brain isn't working right), are you on Livejournal?

Well... yes and no... I do have one but I kinda abandoned it years ago when my ex left me and I gave up the whole bawling about it stuff on there. I might pick it up again. I need somewhere else to blog about these OMFG cute squishy naked alien chicks my budgies have. Hmm.

Some other inconsiderate being stole my "BonEsy" :P so I think mine was BonsEy or something. I'll have to check. My avatar was a big blue and red siamese fighter.

Poor piddle-pooch! :o You need to make her a little poly tunnel out from a catflap to a de-snowed area under a umbrella, 'haps she might piddle then, lol :P Our GSD loves snow. He's a beastly snowplough, face shoveled into it, gobble gobble. Loves the stuff. He always looks irate when I say it's time to go in again, hehe. I guess Crick hates the cold not having much fluff to call her own. One benefit is at least you pee quick when it's cold... it's a strange happening of the body as soon as you go out in the cold.. KIDNEYTIEM! It's amazing, like clockwork!

Anyhow, hope you're not too shaken up by the smashy. I left you a shout to something I found on-line that might give you a smile at least :)

ANYONE who loves cats... I LOVE.

It seems so many people hate cats because of their own ignorance! I love seeing pictures of people with their cats.. especially cute pictures like this, showing that cats do much more than sleep! (granted, mine DO nap a lot, but i love action-shots of cats!)

Sadly, earlier this month Merlot (gray kitty in above pictures) came up ill...later that day the vet gave us the grim news that he was ill beyond saving. We euthanized him to end his pain.

I built him a little memorial potted plant today. I dearly miss him.

I have not, actually. Most of my stuff is Oster brand or Andis brand equipment...more and more of it is Andis as my shitty Oster crap breaks and needs replacing. Gods how I hate Oster's grooming line!!! :P

That was something my dad kept telling me...he had a pretty good (if short) life for a stray kitten found in winter under a car. Still, he was so darn YOUNG, it plagues me. He was a year and a month old when he died. And yes, he was AWESOME, a rambunctious silly thing who loved everyone. He was truly joyful every second of his life. I really miss him.

He was so fluffy omg. I miss my cuddly little guy.

Well, your dad is right then. It's always those kind that go off young. ): Not to sure on why either... But then again, any death of a pet hurts a lot. I'm happy he had you though, saving him and everything. <3

I think it's also hitting hard because it isn't too long after my "old cats" both died. This past fall, Sam (20) threw a blood clot that was fatal...Shadow (18) had to be euthanized due to complications from cancer...and now Merlot. I haven't had to bury a cat in over 20 years (thank you, Sam, for hitting the big two-oh!) and now I've had three go in less time than I care to dwell on.

I've rather informally asked my girls to never die. Either that, or if they really feel they must, they need to beat Sam in the numbers game first. :)

I think it's artistic enough that I had a friend photograph Merlot's little memorial so I can post it here. I'll put it up soon.

Merlot was such an awesome boy, I miss him so much. None of my other kitties sit on my shoulders/head. :B

He was really a special, one-of-a-kind baby. <3!!!
