The scanned image above is a sheet of fan-made character design sketches for the recent rogue-lite hack-and-slash video game titled Cult of the Lamb which was developed by Massive Monster and published by Devolver Digital in August 2022.

These three fan-made characters are based on the symbolic Three Beasts as they appear at the beginning of Dante Alighieri's timeless medieval epic that was the Divine Comedy.

From left to right, these characters are:

1. Babaloni (Non-Binary) - Leopard of Lust and Fraud
2. Bacchio (Male) - Lion of Pride and War
3. Mammona (Female) - She-Wolf of Greed and Desire

To be honest, I created these sketches specifically to assist a YouTube animator named Deltaplanet with their Cult of the Lamb fan animations.

Last week, after watching their most recent animated short on YouTube (i.e. Isabelle Joins the Cult of the Lamb), I joined their official Discord channel to help out however I could, even though I haven't yet played the game myself. As a result, I quickly befriended one of the composers for said animated short.

And so, I can only hope that these sketches get put to good use someday.
