This is my albino coryodras catfish, whom I recently decided to nickname Angel
Just now I saw him resting against the filter, almost as if stuck, and unresponsive to me
I was worried he might be dead or dying but then I shifted the filter a bit and he started darting around in a panic before settling. Looking close I thought he wasn't breathing but then I saw him frantically gasping after that experience
I also noticed just how tiny he is, he always looked so much bigger from a distance...
He's been with me for over a decade now, the last of the five albinos I had as they died off one by one, leaving only two that got transferred to their current tank before one of them disappeared, likely eaten by the loaches after dying
Been kind of hoping this one would be able to stay strong and keep going so when I get the tank fixed up I can give them some buddies, let that be the light at the end of the tunnel for all they've had to endure...
I really hope he makes it...
(he's foraging around right now, so hopefully he'll be fine, and hopefully he'll get his reward after all his hardships in the end)

They very much air! In terms of food just anything small enough to be vacuumed by their little mouths. Ah I'm no beginner dude, and this tank has been running for months now but I actually used a filter cartridge from my old tank when I took it down ;) Main worry is how this little guy has been with me for over a decade so I thought his time finally came, but he seems very active right now, foraging about as normal, so hopefully he still has some years left in him^^
Ah lovely!^^ I've always loved fish, so much diversity to them, loved researching different species but am especially into it now ;3 They really and oh yeah they definitely are! XD They're very much loved for their personality and peaceful nature, I'd definitely compare them to capybaras in that they pay absolutely no mind to their tankmates, which is why they're considered perfect community fish^^
