Finished this poem over the weekend. Wanted to post it on Earth Day cause it’s got themes of nature in it but that didn’t end up happening cause I had a pretty busy weekend. Still, I finished it. It’s a poem reflecting on the chopping of a tree so that new life can grow from the freed space.
