Meine gefesselten Lieblingshunde 5: Otto
This time we have Otto, the blacksmith from Disney´s Robin Hood. He triggered my protector´s instinct even back, when I was a kid, watching this movie for the first time.

I partly agree here, for it would have looked more natural as a disguise, but I think, Robin made the correct move in capturing one of the vultures. In my oppinion, the wolf archers were ordered to patrol the castle walls, while the vultures did so in the courtyard. If Robin appeared as a wolf archer, it would have looked like one of them had left his post without permission, and Robin would have been forced to explain his action. Impersonating a vulture made the Sheriff less suspicious.
Good to see another Robin Hood character making an appearance in a bound anthro series and poor Otto really didn't have a good time of it. I guess the Sheriff perhaps wanted to make an example of him for not paying his taxes, or maybe it was one of the Wolf Arrowmen or buzzard guards who took a little pity on him having a broken leg and decided he needed to take the weight of it, so tying him to a pole will ensure he gets plenty of rest.
