I wanted to draw a nice view of the city of El Salida for a while now, and there it is !

Often referred to as the Detroit of the West Coast, Salida went through a brief economical boom in the 2030s before collapsing and then slowly but safely getting back to its former glory. What the city lacked in touristic areas, it made up in industries. Salida had the privilege to host one of the very first spaceports in America, beating the LAX spaceport up North in time.
When the Two Years of Darkness occured, leaving the world in a total blackout, Salida completely shut down and immediately crashed. Almost half the city was abandoned and the rest was infested with crime and poverty. It would take another decade before the Solar Union and the Makir Empire took interest in the city. The spaceport was rebuilt and expanded, putting LAX once again to shame; the factories would be converted to produce Artana technology such as Eterium converters and hovercars; and the abandoned blocks were torn down to build specialized settlements for Umbras. These urban modifications would make Salida the second biggest alien melting-pot of America right after New York.
