So, what do you guys think? Do they look decent enough to bother getting into? Worth it for you guys? I think it'd make a decent way for me to force myself to practice various species and stuff, But I wouldn't want to try unless people think they'd like them. They're fairly simple... I dunno.

They're okay, but it's more about getting some real face practice in. I've been having issues with them lately and doing a ton of face shots might really help pull things together. Getting a bit of pocket change on the side would be enough drive to make me actually do it, as well. I suck at practicing on my own xD
It's not the money itself, so much as the obligation. I don't like to owe people things, I like to always be squared off. Soon as they pay me, I owe them something, and that eats away at me. It's a very powerful motivator for getting shit done. S'why I take so many commissions. Having a long list of people who I owe stuff to really keeps me going, where as on my own time I can get a bit lazy.
By all means give it a try, I've seen plenty of people cropping commissions they got from you to use as avatars (i was originally going to, but I've just gotten too attached to tea dalek)
Just don't spend so much time doing them they you get bored of drawing heads and forget to draw some porn every now and then.

I'd happily spend $5 on one of these, they look great, and plus for some reason I can never make an avatar myself that I'm that pleased with, they always look squashed, or stretched. Besides, £3 is hardly going to break even my perilously underfunded bank account!

I mean, hell, I already cropped part of a picture of yours which involved me and had that as my icon for a while :D So yes, yes you should start doing icons! (Mainly because they're probably something you can do that won't get under ya fur as much as you seem to think some of your pictures do :P )
