Leave it to Rachael to not let sleeping dragons lie!
The world renowned yet disaster prone thief somehow found the lair of one of the ancient dragons of Dunia. Deep under a mountain, hibernating for years at a time on a massive stash of treasure.
"Surely, such a wealthy beast will not miss one piece of treasure. Just a little trinket, a souvenir to prove that I really did see such an awe inspiring sight! I mean, that amount of gold in one place! Wooooow, I'd like to roll around in that! So surely this ancient and wise beast will not miss one little thing or two or as many as I can carr- WHOOP!"
Rachael felt a sharp tug as she was hoisted into the air by a pinch of a claw and dangled by her tail. The pinch was firm with the promise it could get a lot more sharp.
"Heeeey!" Rachael drew out, clever brain working overtime to try to talk her way out of this. "I am... a door to door treasure polisher. And I just couldn't find the door so I let myself in?"
The dragon had a lot of face so its expression was hard to see in its entirety but Rachael didn't think it was convinced by her story.
This is another fine mess you've gotten me into, myself! Rachael thought. I'd appreciate it if you thought of a way out!
"Smoke bomb!"
Rachael grabbed a small ball from within her sweater and dashed it against the ground. Except the ground was dozens of feet below so the concealing cloud just fogged around the dragon's ankles for a bit. Also, she was still being held by the tail so even if it had worked, it wouldn't have worked.
"Oh no," Rachael deadpanned. Then threw down the rest of her smoke bombs. "Fire! Protect the gold!"
The dragon's expression did not change.
Uh oh. Rachael sure was in a pinch!

This takes place some time in the past, so she didn't try to rob a dragon while pregnant. That also means she got out of it somehow. But then, she always does either through cleverness or luck or embarrassment.
Perhaps she seduced the dragon using her charisma and then snuck away after saying she would slip into something more comfortable. Perhaps it sneezed a little fire to burn off her clothes and scorch her fur and sent her off with a warning. Perhaps she was abducted by aliens, saved from one dangerous situation by another! She lives a silly enough life that many resolutions to this are plausible for her.
