That is exactly what I thought would happen, especially if Roko eats a very large quantity of them at the same time. Roko's balloon would probably burst and Roko's fat spirit will burst out of the balloon while the reapers will try to slash his soul. Hehe. XD

I completely agree with you. I just wonder what item Fat Roko will try to hide himself in to avoid the reapers slashing him once his balloon disguise explodes, lol. It got to be a big item since he would be very fat in this situation. XP

I'm surprised that Roko can resist eating the Dyrads (for now), but I still think that sooner rather than later Roko's greed is going to get the best of him. Think about it, it may be a while before Roko eats a carrion because in order for that to happen an animal must be killed either by another animal or an evil being. I do like Roko's chubby balloon body and smug like attitude towards the dyrads. Super funny and cute in my opinion. ^^

I think that Roko is going to eat a large quantity of carrion, a large quantity of dyrads, or a super huge spirit (like Ayal's when he died) at the same time. More than likely I think someone evil is going to kill a lot of animals at the same, Roko is going to eat the huge buffet of carrions all at the same time, and Roko's soul is going to be so fat from eating all of the carrions at the same time that his fat soul is going to burst from his balloon disguise, Roko's balloon will explode while the reapers will try to slash his fat soul. That's just my idea, but I could be wrong, Grizz, lol, XD.

Also, Roko just ate a carrion and it looks like to me that he is probably going to search for more which shows how greedy he is and I have a feeling that what I think is going to happen with Roko may happen sooner rather than later, hehe. The only thing is if Roko's balloon explodes from him eating too many souls at once, what item will Roko hide in next time, Grizz? What do you think about that, Grizz, lol? ;)

My pet theory remains. The situation bears some resemblance to that in the Bartimaeus series, with Roko acting far more like a djinni than a classic kitsune. The smug attitude, the shape-shifting, and the spirit predation are all features of djinni, who are about the middle of the power scale. (The dryads would be more like foliots).

In that universe the spirits all exist as one being in the Other Place, their home dimension. When they are summoned to our plane, they devour one another all the time; strong ones eat weaker ones routinely. The predator absorbs the prey-spirit and they lose their individual identity, but in the Other Place, they're all one being, anyway.

In Rain Burn, however, there is a twist: The Reapers are there to send newly freed spirits to the Other Place, and Roko is directly interfering with their job.

I have a feeling that pretty soon Roko is going to be greedy, eat too many spirits at once that Roko's fat spirit will outgrow his balloon disguise, his balloon disguise will explode, and the reapers will be chasing fat Roko while he is trying to find a new item to hide, lol. XD

Probably a larger balloon. But what I'm saying is he's gonna be bigger for a while before he pops. Slowly growing and eventually springing a leak. We ate just speculating this tho lol

Well, you could always use an inflatable beach ball or a upgrade Roko's balloon to a parade float size balloon since those two can expand, lol. :P

Woah okay, so that confirms it. Roko's spirit does grow if he eats a powerful spirit (or large sum) but now it raises the question of... How does his hunger work? Is it like how our hunger works? If so, how does that work if he's not feeding a physical body? Is his soul just fading away, and he has to keep it stable/"alive" by consuming other souls? Because our bodies grow hungry because we need it to keep our basic functions running, but if Roko doesn't have any of that, why is he experiencing hunger, or whatever his equivalent would be? It seems to me that, his spirit slowly just dying over time while outside his body is the closest thing I can think of, so maybe spirits just vanish if a reaper spirit doesn't "slash" them as everyone else phrases it.

I think that Roko would do anything and everything in his power to make sure that he is the biggest, strongest, and most powerful spirit ever!

So I think that Roko would consume as many reapers as possible, as long as he thinks of that idea doesn't get scared and chickened out like when he was hiding in the jar.

Think about it, if Roko consumes all of the reapers, if Roko's spirit grows and becomes so fat that he outgrows his balloon disguise...... they will be no reapers left to slash him, lol, XD.
