I have forgotten to post this on the 20th of March but hey... we all make mistakes.
This is the season where the weather gets warmer. I already miss the chilly winter weather. Regardless, I know there are people out there that love Spring. Ye cannibals! How dare ye love the season of flowers. They're too much. The flora of light, it burns. XD
LOL, just kidding though, Spring alright. Today marks the 1st day of Spring. Just saying that it is the time of the season where a lot of flowers and flora start to bloom. Also, the air starts to get messed up as pollen takes to the skies heh-. So prepare for a lot of allergies to come ye way.
In a way, this is the season of rebirth at least in my opinion. Easter is celebrated during this time (And I'm shocked that I didn't think of that while drawing this that would've been an amazing draw). Easter is a big holiday in which it celebrates the resurrection of Jesus Christ; the messiah. And people over the world who perform Christianity (whether they're a Jehovah's witness, from the church of latter day saints and so on...) commemorate the holiday by doing respective events. One such event is the Easter bunny hiding chocolate eggs for children to find and get. Possibly they could also be pokemon eggs too laid out by a Loppuny or Diggserby. I don't really see Cinderace doing this mostly but hey you never know (XP). Since it is the year of the rabbit, I could feature Elfvis in a few extra stuff this year too. He needs a bit of spotlight.
Anywho, it's also a celebrated Pagan holiday, if ye wanna know what that means, ye could possibly google it.
St. Patrick's day is also celebrated here during the season so when that comes around, you can follow Failboat's example and 'always go greeeeen!!'
Other holidays even include:
-April Fools where ye could get fooled by a bunch of ya friends and family.
-Mother's Day, to celebrate the time we all spend with our beloved mothers.
-The Passover (which lasts from April 5th to the 13th this year) for the Jewish Community
...and a lot of other holidays. Ye would think there were not that many, but there is plenty to go around. Each season brings new holidays to celebrate and give us an opportunity to spend time with our own families, regardless of religion, status or the like.
Babylon here is taking in the new bloom of botany whilst resting for a bit. It's good to chill in a sea of flowers. I also tried to do a new thing here using so crayon like tools though, it didn't turn out how I expected. Maybe I could try again another time. Next Spring though, I'll definitely remember to include Easter as a big thing for the Season's greeting pic. This one feels underwhelming.
