I was torn between a bird for Juushiro (a seagull or a stork), thanks to the Karakura Town discord server and my friends for helping me decide. I'm no longer sure which bird won the poll, but I settled on the Oriental stork. His wings are huge and here they are in a semi-folded position.
Kaien is a falcon (peregrine falcon, yellow is just my colouring decision) and Rukia is a swallow (common house martin).
