Oh c'mon everyone knows it. Pokemon is just a kiddy version of summoning. Except Summons could beat up a pokemon any day of the week. So yeah here is me as a summoner. ((Note the classic horn which is their symbol)) Making pacts with beings from a different dimension that have crossed over into our plane. They hold the power of their realm inside them and only through the help of the summoner can they unleash them properly. The symbiotic relationship between these two is one of power and beauty. Can't go wrong with the aid of a mighty dragon, the queen of ice, or an earthen golem to protect and aid you in any way they can just for a chance to see our world once more.

Side note... The class didn't always used to be referred to as a summoner, but in fact started out as Evoker. It's just a thesaurus like naming really so it's not that big of a deal. Just a random bit of trivia I suppose.
