Heya,
I personally think a macro would be a perfect companion to talk to when you're going through a tough time. Regarding my comic here, Dudley is pretty much a one of a kind critter in his world. So he would sadly be familiar with experiencing rough situations and how it feels to be alone and such. As a result, conversing with him and opening up about your problems would really be all the more rewarding for both parties involved. Myself, I just feel safer/happier in the presence of a dog but that feeling would increase x1000 fold if said dog was hundreds of times bigger and could speak. Plus a macro doggo like him would always be there for you when you need him :D
Dudley's plan here was for a chance to do the same good he's been having the pleasure of receiving from Beardsley - onto the graffiti-loving vulpes vulpes. Dudley himself hasn't had the easiest time during the span of his life, but Beardsley has been his crutch throughout their shared lives together. Anytime he struggled with something, the little Aussie was there to alleviate any sorrow :)
Thankfully the Husky was actually successful in helping the little artist see what he needed to change but also what he was doing good with. Also funnily enough sometimes with close companionship comes great transparency, so it led to him being a bit too honest with the smaller guy ha-ha.
I really enjoyed trying to come up with a way to show the Husky's personality, and I'm glad I was able to at least show his great way of helping others speak in a comfortable manner.
Have a good one.

When nature calls, you're not really allowed to hang up XD
Given how little he speaks with one's that aren't his friend, the little Aussie- I'm sure that's the reason he felt pretty embarrassed about letting it slip to the fox ha-ha. I know I would :S
I'm glad Dudley's increase in heft wasn't left unappreciated. I didn't want to draw him like - emaciated - so I added a bit more "fluff" too em' and of course a more doughy belly was the result of that :D
