After Mario licked his wounds from Bowser’s beating he decided to return and fight again against Bowser to rescue his brother and his new friends, but when he went out of the Punch-Out!! Pizzeria he saw that Donkey Kong already have done the job.

In my opinion Illumination and Nintendo did Donkey Kong dirty.
