I once took a Shom Howell drawing and colorized it using Corel PhotoPaint 8 (it's been a long time), turning it into an HP Lovecraft tribute. I still have it here someplace, but I have never posted it anywhere - I'm not sure I even told Shon about it - and I wouldn't post it without his say-so anyhow. Such pathetic art piracy - no Arrrrh for me, I guess.
Since he HAS been mentioned, I am hoping that this will not be too off topic.
He hasn't posted since June 2010 that I have seen.
Does anybody know what he is doing now?
By the way, he has done some pictures in matching female and herm versions himself.

I assume you mean Doug Winger? While I haven't seen in several years -- not since ConFurence ended -- I knew him reasonably well. When in California, I usually spend some of the time staying over at Casa Martin's, where Doug has a room.
His life style consists more or less of this: Sleep 8 or 20 hours, get up randomly, eat a microwaved weiner, smoke, go on-line for 17 hours, smoke constantly, eat weiner, do whatever Steve is hollering at him to do -- his laundry, let's say -- go on-line for another 7 hours, eat a weinger, have a last cigarette, go to bed for 14 hours.
This is barely an exagerration. He only rarely breaks out of random hours and routine activities. He has no real friends off-line and no other hobbies. They joke around the house that Doug might go missing for several days before anyone notices, and knows what the bad smell coming from his room means.
Indeed, I don't think his health *is* very good. He's gaunt, smokes incessantly, eats little, does little, and I'm told that he coughs like he has TB or something. Nobody really expects him to be with us in ten years. Maybe five.
So, the short answer to your question is, I dunno what he's doing but probably as near to nothing as the living can do.

Well, he draws too. At least he used to - I can't vouch for it now. It was mostly herms and macros, though, so I would imagine it still is. Sometimes Steve would browbeat Doug into helping with one of Steve's or Bob's art jobs, which usually led to a lot of hollering until Doug finally gave into the inevitable and drew something that wasn't a herm or a macro.
At Least I Asked You Permission About Try Drawing Any Of Your Characters Or OC`s Previously Or At Least I Not Tried Nothing Without Your Permission!
But How Many Guys Can Try That..? Well In My Case I Reicived Likes Gifts Or Samples Of Gratitude From Some Guys Drawing My OC`s For Showing Me They Apretiation! But At The Moment Not Had Problems About That... What Was Exactly The Reason For This Image??? Mmmmmhhhhhhh!?

My Philosophy: I generally regard it as flattery -- in a good way -- when someone asks to borrow a character. But if no-one asks before doing it, then I won't know I'm being flattered... So I like being asked.
