I’ve been re-listening to Wildflower by The Avalanches & I realized how much I love that album. Like how it moves between bombastic, starbursts of energy like “Because I’m Me” into blissful, psychedelic numbers like “Colours” & “Living Underwater”; all the while with a kind of wistfulness, almost longing, with “Kaleidoscope Lovers” feeling like a beautiful ego-death (that song directly inspired this piece so I guess if your gonna listen to one track, I’d recommend that one). It gets me kinda misty eyed I’ll admit.

I’m sorry this sketch isn’t as polished as I usually try to make, I’ve just felt kinda sentimental recently & I wanted to make something that felt… Idk loving? Something with more intimacy than most of my works have. Hope you enjoy. ❤️
