Presenting this year's annual MerMay commission for Merman Tristan, the @redrivermerman on Instagram!
This marks the fifth year in a row that I've worked with Merman Tristan on a portrait of his mersona. Not only do I look forward to collaborating with him each year—he's an incredibly friendly merman, you see—these annual portraits also present an excellent opportunity for me to look at the work I've done in years past to see how my artistic abilities have improved or evolved over time. I have to say, I'm quite satisfied with how this year's portrait turned out—here's looking forward to next year's! 🧜♂️🥂
