Checking for cracks, probably. She hasn't discovered the easy two finger method I guess. Thumb and forefinger on the tops of partner eggs and wiggle them or just pull their tops towards each other. If they've cracked and leaked the yolk will glue them to the carton. You might miss hairline cracks but it's fast and you don't drop eggs.
