Promises made, are promises kept,
The binding which I hold true.
Work started, is work to be done,
The duty I have taken.
Bonds formed, are bonds sustaining,
The ones I vow to protect.
Tears shed, are wounds in manifest,
The pain I have yet to submit to.
Scars received, are lessons learned,
Of which, I will take, and use, to better myself.
Time wasted, is experience lost,
The times I look to rectify.
True love gained, is heat to melt the coldest ice,
The goal I have set for my life.
True love lost, is considerable agony,
Of which, I must endure.
Wounds received, are wounds to heal,
The scars I endure to help others.
Balance needed, is balance sought,
The balance I shall endeavor to achieve... Even if it takes my life.
