Azura and Halcyon are chillin' on a balcony watching life go by in their ultramodern home city. There are plenty of spots in the city where a group can gather and relax a bit, so people-watching opportunities are inevitable nearly anywhere. This is just one small slice of life in New Atlantis, and while the unknowns of the mainland beyond the city's island borders still remain a concern in the back of everyone's minds, this place remains as usual a haven where such worries can be lost in the company of friends and fellow citizens. Kick back and let go of your worries, if only for a little while. There will be plenty of opportunities to come, and there's no better place to clear one's mind than here.
It seems like every time I come up with an idea for a piece themed around New Atlantis, I keep wanting to show expansive moments rather than my usual single-character pieces. There's just so much I want to put on display! With numerous characters shown, I had the chance to experiment with a few clothing styles, decorative accents, and tech elements that one might find here. You can pick out a few of the citizens who happen to be researchers of the Spirit Wilds, by way of the glowing runes on their bodies and datapad holsters. Though this is just a small sample of what the city is like, I hope it gives you folks another glimpse into this world I continue to have so much fun building.
