A quick picture of a tense moments in one of our D&D sessions. Up until now, there hasn't been much -if any- interpersonal conflict, but the discovery of a ruby-red dragon scale caused a bit of a stand-off between party members.
Nayla -another PC- tried to take the scale back from Snide after Rhogar suffered a strange reaction to it, but the kobold refused. Nayla lunged for it, but he clutched the scale tightly, wrenching it free from her grasp. Snide's voice was firm, yet laced with desperation, insisting he NEEDS the scale.
