Strangers in Luminé - Zil and Aldra Plushies
The image above is a double portrait of another player character and their drake companion as they appeared in Incognitus Tales: Strangers in Luminé, the first Dungeons and Dragons (5th edition) campaign I ever created and ran.
The characters in question are Zil Embereyes (left), a non-binary forest gnome Drakewarden ranger, and Aldra (right), their non-binary drake wyrmling companion.
I made these characters' portrait specifically as a birthday present for their player, Nemo Ex Nesquam, who recently entered their mid-20s. As well as being one of my star players, they were also my first ever non-binary player. Needless to say, they were a true joy to collaborate with, not only as a player but also as a fellow storyteller!
