AT LONG LAST!!!
I never managed to do a proper design sheet for my very own character, but that has finally changed!
I've been longing to revamp his outfit for a long time and now it's finally done.
Lemme share some thoughts on the development with you people.
His previous outfit started to feel really dated to me (and also very annoying to draw due to it's several metal details) and was very ridiculous when put next to better outfited or less excentric outfited characters (that became quite apparent when I drew the Christmas Memories pictures). So, I wanted to do something sleeker, that would be also easier to draw and wouldn't look that weird or sexualized next to other characters.
I wanted to get rid of the leather accessories (except for Collar and TailCuff cuz they became quite characteristic), but I kind of liked the main look, with the cuffs making for an extended boot and glove with a strap on the arms. So I substituted them with proper longer gloves and armbands, but dumping the boots (Wich I don't even have anymore) to sandals.
For years I wanted to draw Claw using a shirt for his main outfit, but the chest belts and fluffs (wich I'm fond of) wouldn't allow it, but for the sake of doing something new, I decided for a bodysuit, like those bicycle sportsmen, but sleeveless and with longer leggings. I also went for a more original shorts design.
All in all, I wanted something different, cool, without diverging much from the previous outfit, but that didn't look that ridiculous or unpractical as the "Leather accessories with shorts and boots" combo.
Figured the bodysuit would make for a cool piece of clothing while not being that conventional. I was afraid he'd look too much like super-hero tights, but I guess it's ok. The bodysuit would then cover a handfull of his fluffs, but I managed to make that extra outline on his sideways view that shows off the fluffs under the suit.
And yes, tho it doesn't look that significant at first glance, I drew him with considerably bigger ass and thighs as he always should have. But in more stylized pictures (That I always manage to do), this means his butt and thighs might look bigger, like that [+18 warning] Fatass (for those who enjoyed it).
I'm very happy with this long overdue sheet and his new outfit. Hope you feel the same as well. n_n
Note: Ponyclaw will retain his outfit since he looks better with it and it fits with his relationship with Vanessa.

I use that same tail piece since 2006... And the color scheme doesn't reflect anything from Kingdom Hearts. I never went far on the first game, but I'm familiar with it's visual identity. And even comparing it to Sora's outfit in Kingdom Hearts 2, there aren't much to compare.
As for colors, Sora's main outfit has much more black and a handful of complementary colors that stand out a lot cuz they are very saturated while I mained only 2 colors.
Sorry to pick on the subject and don't think I'm pissed... It's just that, personally, I dislike Tetsuya Nomura's designs a lot. :c

Hah, indeed, Deadpool uses a lot of black/red and very close tones to the ones I used. XD
As for the tail cuff, I use it on the character as a play on some stuff I see in anime and games. Those characters that have tail and use some sort of accessory on it that's clearly loose and heavy, but the tail acts as if it's not even there and it doesn't come off for nothing in the world. X3
Also, back when I first tried to make my character look less generic and create some characteristic features, the collar and the tailcuff were the first items I used. Ended up making him cuter. =3
As I said in the description, I kept them cuz they became very characteristic since they're always there. n_n
