Another new character?

It would appear so but appearances would be deceiving!

This is Grace Hormel, who has appeared very briefly in the story of demon Razor Tongue.

Grace was actually Razor Tongue's entire reason for going to Saint Diablerie High before she got sidetracked by a fat-assed hamster.

Years and years ago, Razor Tongue made a pact with a mortal sorcerer named Gregorio Hormel to marry his granddaughter. He didn't actually have a granddaughter at the time but for all that she's bad at staying on task, Razor Tongue is a firm believer in planting seeds for later. Grant some sorcerer demonic knowledge in exchange for his hypothetical granddaughter's hand in marriage. Give a lovelorn panther a hand in exchange for a future favor. Make a deal with a clan of oracles.

When Razor Tongue made the deal with Gregorio Hormel, it was up in the air whether she'd ever claim her bride. But since she made the deal, it was now on the table when she was laid low and exiled to the mortal world.

And then she completely forgot what she was doing because messing with Ms Cumberland is taking up most of her time.

But that's all Razor Tongue information. Now Grace is a full-fledged character of her own with a ref and with colors.

Who is Grace?

Well, she's a massive nerd.

Her grandfather had a massive collection of magic tomes and fantasy looking stuff and he encouraged her interest in all of that. But she never found out about the whole marriage thing. All she knows is that at some point, her parents stopped letting her see her grandfather. And he died not long after that.

Trying to recapture the dimly remembered interests she shared with her grandfather, she got big into fantasy and roleplaying and demonic conspiracy theories.

Yeah, did you know that demons walk among us and the government is covering it up? Is the queen in on it? Or is it hidden from her too?? Just wait until she gets that mail order demon detector, she'll find some demons boy howdy! Oh, she notices you're walking away. You must be going to order your own demon collector from the back of Menace 'n Macabre Tales magazine. You can save one whole dollar if you also sign up for a two-year subscription!

Grace isn't that aware of what people think about her. That some people talk about her behind her back. She's so good natured, she doesn't think ill of anyone that hasn't wronged her. Why would people dislike her when she's never done anything wrong? So she assumes that everyone is AT WORST neutral towards her!

She also isn't very aware that her shirt is a boob joke. She just likes it because its relevant to her gaming interests. She doesn't really think a lot about sex stuff. She thinks a lot about dice.

She's also not aware that the crown spot on her belly marks her as promised to (currently diminished) royalty. Its not that unusual to have hearts or stars or whatever in your fur patterns. Anyway, its probably just pareidolia!

So that's who Grace is.

She's gonna bounce off the other characters so interestingly!
