My new reference sheet! Artwork by
JuneauPaws
While I was looking for someone to redo my ref sheet, I couldn't decide who to make it, so I got both! You can see the other one here: https://www.furaffinity.net/view/52030432/
Quick reference for artists:
• Base: #3084ff
• Accent/Stripes: #22539c
• Underbelly: #f3f7fe
• Eye color: #a49248 with highlights of #766512
• Nose: Tiger - #f8bcbf
• Don't forget gold ring on left ring finger.
• Quite Tall (6'5") among peers. Lean, not muscular.
• Prefer no paw pads/beans (sorry bean lovers).
• Prefer plantigrade.
• I grant anyone permission to commission my character ^_^
Description:
Tibbit is a tiger-rabbit hybrid. Specifically a Blue Holland Lop Rabbit. I'm not specific on the tiger breed, but probably Siberian. He's a little introverted, very kind, but overly analytical. He's married to
Valyne
Changes From Last Ref:
From my last ref sheet, there's a few changes:
• First, skipping the alts for the the different sides to simplify things, no more "bunny side".
• Next changing Tibbit's palette. He was more a periwinkle, but I wanted to shift those colors toward blue. I changed his underbelly and eyes from pure bright white/green to a cool white and hazel color
• I added hair/eyebrows. I liked the style in This other blue tiger-bunny by Shiuk where it's messy hair and thin eyebrows, and wanted Tibbit to have something similar.
• I added a tiger nose, again similar to the image above.
• As for his ears, I wanted them to have more structure than being just flat and floppy. Like his ears in this commission by Scale . Another good example (that's less realistic) is this one by Trevor-Fox
• Also from Scale's drawing, I liked the shorter muzzle length and adding claws to his fingers
There was a couple things I planned on changing, but after seeing JuneauPaws' sketch/color it out, I decided I didn't like it:
• I thought I wanted the underbelly color to go all the way to his feet, rather than stopping at his thighs, but it didn't look right
• I thought his ears were too long and wide, but once I saw them shorter I realized that it wasn't what I wanted.
So now we have Tibbit V3! Now I just need to use this to get some new art ^_^
